counseling for marriages and families
Having a family is a lot of hard work. It is not just getting married, living together and having kids. Having a family needs more care than anything else. It needs good communication between the members, trust, love and care to make it last. I have seen more broken families than happy ones. I have been watching all these reality shows that have troubles and are falling apart. They started happy yet I saw them crashing down and next time I know they broke up and heading to the court to file for divorce. We've seen more broken marriages on TV because it's too much ego. They are too busy and no one will give time to their family. If you care about the marriage and the family that you build all these years you should get professional help from a professional or from a marriage therapists where they have heard more stories and can help you better than just trying to figure out by yourself. I found a website called Family & Marriage Counseling and have a list of professionals that can help you. Their phone counseling page lists many therapists who are part of a network that provides online counseling, as well as counseling over the telephone. There are certain circumstances where such therapy is appropriate, especially if the person seeking such therapy has limited access to transportation or therapists in their area. When I was reading their website, I saw this quote, ""Married couples today feel increasingly isolated and are expected to manage their lives and families without the community supports that in the past were a primary resource in raising children and meeting family needs. Couples in our present culture are less bound by family traditions and are freer than ever before to develop relationships unlike those of the families that they were raised in." As we travel across this country and meet the locals I have seen these changes clearly and of course in our neighborhood that's why I totally agree. If you need or somebody you know is in need of marriage help, don't hesitate! Contact them now.
