Flying, Is it really Safe?

I don't have any problem flying, I don't really have any fear of flying yet I keep questioning if it is really safe. This morning I was just watching the news and saw that there was a plane crash in South Carolina.

Courtesy of MTV.com
"DJ AM and Travis Barker were critically injured in a plane crash Friday night (September 19) in Columbia, South Carolina. They had just performed at a free T-Mobile-sponsored show in the Five Points area, along with Perry Farrell and headliner Gavin DeGraw. Farrell's manager, Peter Katsis, confirmed that Farrell was not on the plane; it was unclear at press time whether DeGraw was onboard."

I just hope they are okay.

There are plenty of people who believe they can help people fly. Pilots explain how safe flying is. Psychologists try CBT and NLP. Neither approach is adequate for the real "hard core" cases. If you think nothing will work, or have tried "everything" and failed see the video at http://www.fearofflying.com/video_hs.shtml
